STACKING DOLL PRODUCTIONS

is the Los Angeles based production company run by Zoe Tyson and Louie Rinaldi. Together they have a combined 30 years of experience in the theater and film industries on projects for Showtime, Fox, BBC, Criterion Collection, and Netflix throughout New York, Chicago and LA.

After their inaugural production F#@% Julie! (Nom. Best Play HFF) that premiered at the Dorie Theatre in LA, Zoe and Louie decided to create Stacking Doll to continue to uplift original works with a focus on Queer and Female driven narratives.

The pair met at Admitted Student’s weekend at their Alma Mater, The Theatre School, at DePaul University. A few years into college they became roommates, where they drank cheap Moscato and hid dolls around the house for each other to find. They are still doing both of those things.

Zoe Tyson is a fifth generation Texan, but it’s okay because she grew up in Austin. At eighteen, Zoe moved across the country to Chicago to attend The Theatre School at DePaul University, graduating with honors, a BFA in Acting, and the ability to chug red wine. Post grad, Zoe made her feature film debut as a bikini-clad hussy in Stephen Cone’s queer indie film hit Henry Gamble's Birthday Party -streaming on The Criterion Collection- and made her television debut on Shameless shortly after. Zoe played the antagonist, Vicky in Numa Perriers’ SXSW hit, Jezebel, purchased by Array and streaming on Netflix. Zoe co-founded the women-led group Lower the Bar, where she wrote, produced, and starred in many web shorts before branching out to produce other comedy shorts such as Get High With Diana. Most recently, Zoe wrote produced, and starred in F@#% Julie! alongside creative partner Louie Rinaldi at Hollywood Fringe Festival, where they were nominated for Best Play. Zoe is currently in post-production on her first self-produced short film Self Tape, which she also wrote, directed, and stars in.

Louie Rinaldi is a queer writer-actor-producer who was raised by a Puerto Rican-Itailan delivery driver and a French-Irish beautician on eastern Long Island. Craving to see more of the world beyond selling skincare in NYC, Louie spent time backpacking across Europe, teaching Yoga in Thailand, going to college in Chicago, before landing in LA. Louie grew up attending the Gateway Playhouse Acting School, is an alumni of Bay Street’s Young Playwright Program and graduated from The Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago; where Louie was seen in Abe Koogler's play Kill Floor at American Theatre Company, and guest starring on FOX's drama APB. Louie most recently co-wrote & starred in F#@% Julie!, alongside Zoe Tyson, at The Hollywood Fringe Festival where they were nominated for Best Play; and had their poetry collection Poems and Dream Fragments featured in Fecund Magazine

Louie is represented by Aqua Talent and Ad Astra Management.
